LAKE FOREST, CA / ACCESSWIRE / December 13, 2016 / XFit Brands, Inc. (OTCQB: XFTB), a global supplier of functional fitness, sports surfaces, and MMA equipment sold worldwide whose brands include Throwdown, Transformations, EnviroTurf and GlideBoxx, today announced that it has expanded its Transformations training program with the “Bay Club” in partnership with National Association for Fitness Certification (NAFC).
Transformations is a proven small group training based on community, accountability and results. It is an all-encompassing, sustainable lifestyle, nutrition and 8-week exercise program that was acquired by XFit Brands in 2015. Since that time, XFIT Brands has been building out and refining the Transformations training program and promoting it through its network that spans 21 countries with major fitness centers around the world. The Transformations expansion with Bay Club represents first of its kind training system that also includes marketing and networking systems, scheduling and payment/payroll templates and detailed direction on sales, on-boarding, retention and management, for a turn-key training solution.
The Bay Club, founded in 1977, is an active lifestyle and hospitality company with a network of 24 modern country clubs across 10 campuses—five in Northern California (Marin, San Francisco, Redwood Shores, Silicon Valley and Los Gatos) and five in Southern California (Santa Barbara, San Diego and three in Los Angeles). Headquartered in San Francisco, the growing enterprise welcomes 85,000 members and is home to 3,400 associates, with new growth coming from the planned acquisition of golf clubs, country clubs, and swim and fitness venues up and down the California coast.
They National Association for Fitness Certification, that facilitated the expansion of XFit’s Transformations Training Program expansion is a accredited global fitness educator whose curriculum is focused on higher education and application in the health and fitness industry. NAFC certifies Transformations coaches, and then as certified instructors, the coaches conduct fitness assessments, create individualized and customized workout plans from the Transformation guidelines, ensure participant accountability, and document and monitor participant progress.
Michael LeBoss, Executive Director of National Association for Fitness Certification commented, “It is very exciting to launch the Transformation program in another chain – especially one of the preeminent high-end operations like Bay Club. This expansion further validates the success of the small group training platform and its ability to monetize small group training in club chains.”
